Oakridge Physio Vancouver Gillian Rosenthal Physiotherapist

Gillian Rosenthal

Physiotherapist

Gillian earned her Bachelor of Kinesiology and Master of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC. She is an enthusiastic and compassionate physiotherapist who is eager to address a wide range of cases.  She is especially interested in workplace injuries, sports injuries, and post-operative recovery.

Recognizing that each person’s journey to rehabilitation is unique, Gillian uses an evidence-based and client-centered approach to physiotherapy. Her method involves conducting a thorough and personalized assessment.  She provides a tailored treatment plan of exercise, manual therapy, and injury-specific education. Gillian currently holds her Level 1 Certificate from the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.

Outside of the clinic, Gillian enjoys working at BC Children’s Hospital. Personally, she enjoys walking along the sea wall, Vancouver’s beaches, time spent with friends and family, and trying new sports. Growing up Gillian competed in gymnastics, taught Red Cross swimming lessons, and worked as a lifeguard. More recently she has taken up Pickleball which now consumes much of her time when the sun is out. Gillian has traveled extensively, out of which has grown an adventurous taste for international cuisines.

Gillian looks forward to working with individuals of all ages and stages to reduce their pain and support their journey back to what truly matters to them.
