Physiotherapist
Jen completed her Master of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia and her Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of the Fraser Valley. She believes in employing a comprehensive approach to physical therapy to assist her patients in achieving their personal goals. This includes using manual therapy, along with providing exercises and education to empower her patients. Employing a client-centered approach can help you reduce pain, improve function, and enhance your overall quality of life. Whether you seek rehabilitation for an injury, aim to enhance athletic performance, or need assistance returning to work, Jen will take the time to listen and develop a personalized treatment plan that suits you best.
Jen’s athletic background includes competing at elite levels in basketball, and track and field. After tearing her ACL and meniscus, she redirected her focus to physiotherapy. During her studies as a student athletic trainer, she gained experience working with various sports teams. Additionally, Jen has a strong background in pediatric physiotherapy, specializing in children aged 0-5. She also offers pelvic floor physiotherapy, which can help with pelvic pain and urinary incontinence, particularly beneficial before or after pregnancy. Jen is eager to apply her diverse experience to assist individuals of all ages and abilities.
Beyond physiotherapy, Jen is committed to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. She actively participates in Vancouver’s outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, and golfing. Jen is fluent in English and Vietnamese.
