Kinesiologist

Andrew is a University of British Columbia graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. He believes that exercise has the power to enhance physical function and well-being. He tailors each program to the needs of the individual. Aligning with client objectives and instilling healthy movement patterns helps facilitate your goals.

Going beyond his career pursuits, paddling has become a fundamental element of Andrew’s life journey. Progressing from a recreational paddler to securing a position on Canada’s National Dragonboat Team, his commitment to this sport is evident. As a dragon boat coach, Andrew channels his proficiency to guide paddlers of diverse skills and abilities. Concurrently, his involvement in competitive powerlifting enriched his grasp of exercise prescription, exercise maintenance, and injury prevention.

Andrew’s involvement further extends to his engagement as a Student Athletic Trainer, where he collaborated closely with physiotherapists, strength & conditioning coaches, and kinesiologists. Within his roles, he proactively contributed to the prevention and management of injuries among athletes participating in Ultimate Frisbee.
