Madelyn Paterson

Physiotherapist

Madelyn completed her Masters of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia. Prior to becoming a Physiotherapist, Madelyn gained valuable experience in exercise and movement-based therapy while working as a Kinesiologist.

Madelyn enjoys working with her clients to achieve their individual goals and to help them take part in the activities that they love. She is passionate about educating and empowering her clients. She tailors her treatments to meet and support each of her client’s individual needs and goals; as well as providing each client with the tools to help optimize their recovery. Madelyn has experience working with a wide variety of clients of all ages in different therapeutic settings. In her practice, Madelyn uses evidence-based manual therapy techniques, soft tissue techniques, movement training, IMS (dry needling), and exercise therapy to help her clients meet their goals.

As an enthusiastic and eager learner, Madelyn has completed further courses in anatomical dry needling/IMS, Mulligan’s lower extremity certification, as well as her Level 2 certification in Orthopaedic manual & manipulative physiotherapy.

When not treating at the clinic, you can find Madelyn spending time outside with friends enjoying the beautiful BC landscape. This includes hiking, training for half marathons, skiing, and swimming. She also enjoys travelling, discovering new brunch spots, and spending time with family.

Fun Fact: Madelyn was a former national synchronized swimmer who spent 13 years competing across North America.
