Hilary completed her Masters of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia and her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Victoria. Whether your goals are to rehabilitate from injury, return to sport, improve your athletic performance, get back to work, or to play with your grandkids, Hilary will work with you to develop a custom treatment plan to accomplish these goals. Whatever your individual needs may be, Hilary uses current and evidence-based manual therapy, IMS (dry needling), soft tissue techniques, and therapeutic exercise to help you improve your function, reduce pain, and improve your quality of life.
Treatment Philosophy: Hilary is passionate about empowering her clients by complementing physiotherapy techniques with the tools and education to allow individuals to take control of their care and achieve results to the best of their potential. She will take the time to listen to your needs and develop a plan that complements your schedule. Hilary provides a client-centred approach and will work with you to develop goals and a treatment plan that is meaningful and motivating to you as an individual.
Outside of work: Hilary enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle and is well versed in many sports, most predominantly soccer. Her extensive involvement with soccer has led her to discover effective methods to help athletes rehabilitate from sport-related injury in addition to what treatment, exercise, and education can help to prevent injury and keep athletes on the field. Hilary enjoys a variety of other sports and outdoor activities including tennis, volleyball, golfing, paddle boarding, cycling, and hiking.
